Who do you imagine your best self to be?
Honestly, I am a work in progress. I’ve been working on my relationship with God. I realize without him and my family…I would be nothing!!!!
What steps are you taking to become that person?
I spend much more time in church than EVER before!!! But more importantly I try to give of my time, doing different community events. It makes me feel more complete to help others.
What was the toughest lesson you’ve had to learn?
That sometimes life does NOT play out the way you planned!
What was your “Ah Ha” moment?
I’ve had a few…1st: my dad passed about 5 years ago (though it still feels like it just happened)…2 years later my mom had a stroke…not sure if I made it clear…but my family is my WORLD…and these events rocked me to my CORE!
However, professionally, I’ve been SO incredibly blessed! I’m SO in love with my “What’s Poppin!” entertainment segment (broadcast on Radio One/WKYS radion station)…it’s literally my baby! I swear it gives me LIFE!
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I don’t even know where to begin! I LOVE what I do! I LOVE that I get to touch people’s lives and help people. I’ve had the opportunity to speak at schools and reach the youth. Helping people helps keep things in perspective and it keeps me thankful for all that I have been blessed with!
